This chunky vase measures 6 inches tall and is 5 1/2 inches in diameter. It was coil built of grogged stoneware clay, and was tooled to achieve a satisfying texture. The interior is fully glazed and the exterior was lightly glazed before adding multiple coats of overglaze and encaustic. Encaustic is pigment mixed with wax which is burned onto the surface of the piece. Please wash this piece by hand using warm water and soap. It is not microwave nor dishwasher safe.
